Not too bad. Depends on which page of the website you read though. The homepage says 4100m, the course notes say 5400m

Thats quite a bit! 2500 over 130km was plenty. This a single day event?

Yeah. I’m aiming for around 20hrs I think. 4100m would be fine I think. 1100m over 100km is fairly average around here. Mainly depends on terrain and how rocky bits are.
Need to pull my finger out and get on some gravel trails to build confidence so I’m not just slow for fear of sliding and falling.

When I went skating last week, I was really surrpised that a lot of people was giving me encouragement from this old couple who used to skate to young kids on bikes, had a few chats with people about skating.
if anything you got a really good head start since you did it a lot when younger, you likely be able to get in it right away. I'm learning from zero. Don't let others discourage you.
If you ever try again or anyone else getting into it, I recommend getting proper pads, not cheap amazon ones, include padded shorts and everything, we old now, we need the protection. lol

If you enjoy it then go out and do it and **** what anyone else thinks. You got to get to a point that you stop caring what other people think so they are not dictating on how you live your life.... I'd hate to look back and realise the only reason I didn't do things I would enjoy is because others think I look stupid or I am too old to do it.

Sorry, the offer is over. It was from Google themselves. Increased trade-in value (I think £200 extra) and 30% off, meant the £1,000 phone was only £500, then the actual trade-in value of the Pixel 8.
