That would be good if you have time.
I know from old that a TV that was sold in France was using like Sony and heard many use LG panels, but Hisense is one I know little about.

I usually stay a generation or so behind, I wouldnt usually spend more than 4-500quid on a TV.

For some strange reason I've never really considered Samsung phones. I had a Google Nexus 4 and then a OnePlus 6 and then moved to Apple land.
Give it 3 months...
Probably. He should've waited until the Pixel 10 when Google will be using TSMC.
