Ha nice, yeah that is in my playlist too, I kind of jumped in the deep end and watched a metric poo tonne, that baby blue bezel is just epic!
Next project. After watching (fnar!) a video on youtube where a lad builds his own watch, I did the same, buying a vast amount of watch parts and associated tools from aliexpress for peanuts.
Super cool. I spotted a Frankenstein watch on the wrist of the young lad who served me at jack wolfskin. Started chatting to him and ended up buying a frankenwatch from him for 120 quid I think. Fun little thing - a seiko oyster perpetual explorer 2 lol. After watching (fnar!) a video on youtube where a lad builds his own watch, I did the same, buying a vast amount of watch parts and associated tools from aliexpress for peanuts. I'm very glad I gave up drinking because there is no way on earth my old Delirium tremen riddled hands would have coped with the intricacy!!
I've got enough parts to make quite a few more, but this was my first colour choice!
Late life crisis potential colours!
Good fun, can and would recommend
Oh the list is quite mental, anyone know how to export the orders easily? I just had a quick look and there's nothing obvious
Sadly not. But id be interested to see!
How much did it cost overall?
This video's description has links to all the parts required if you want to give it a go.

Absolutely brilliant.probably about £70 for the completed watch, maybe less, I was trying to work it out but scrolling through the pages of orders has given me a headache. Aliexpress is cheap for ordering stuff from but their website is equally budget!!
ok I endured pain for you:
£5.35 for the bezel
£5.27 for the dial
£1.62 for the counterweight cover
£0.21 for the crown stem
£30.71 for the movement
£5.37 for the hands
£24.29 for the case
I've given this prototype to the missus whilst I start on creation number two. I will buy some sort of tool to help with the hand placement, specifically the second hand which is a complete nightmare!
Perfect cheers!Just under £8

I was given one of these to test. There's loads of them appearing from China. All generic.
To be fair they are decent little devices, the picture quality is good in a dark room. Can display 4k content, has built in speakers and lots of built in streaming apps.
You can also install lots of apps from the Playstore. Sound quality isnt bad but its better if you use the headphone jack and connect to a set of speakers.
Ive used mine a few times for a film night and its performed well.
Holy crap, that's a deal and a half. Is it connected to the phone via Bluetooth? What is the size? can you put a mug next to it for comparison?Bought a £20 projector

Interesting, any more details you can share? Cheers.
There is built-in software, its running Android. Has Netflix and Youtube pre-installed, you can add more using the appstore. You can also stream content directly from your phone but the audio seems slightly out of sync when I tried.Holy crap, that's a deal and a half. Is it connected to the phone via Bluetooth? @GSXRMovistar I got it from Aliexpresss, there was a code (expired now) at the time and it knocked a fiver off the final price.
