Oh god, that's just so nice. I wish I know about that version before ordering what I got today.

Needed to replace my old Logitech pad which works nicely but I lost the USB thing for and replacing that costs as much as the gamepad, thanks Logitech. lol

I can enjoy the new MS Flight Sim 2025 game now. :)

Diesel heater arrived this afternoon, I just setting it up and making a few mods (replace the fuel line with stiffer tube, adding a fuel filter, replacing the mains plug on the PSU with a fused one). I think I'll also need to buy a longer exhaust tube. Other than that seems OK.

maybe a carbon monoxide alarm just to be safe :P

why use these over electric heaters? are they much cheaper to run?

I have watched a lot of videos on these heaters, seem good and effective if installed correctly, some even recover the heat from the exhaust port. This one looks well built.

They're great for areas that don't have power, like sheds or garages. They're also pretty cheap to run.
Yes much cheaper than electric heating, and without the issues (e.g., condensation) from a gas heater. I'll be making sure the exhaust vents outside so no danger of toxic gases building up in the workshop, but I suppose a CO meter is a good idea. I usually have an extractor fan running anyway. All you get out of these diesel heaters is hot air, the furnace and combustion gases are contained within separate compartments so the two don't mix. Some argument to made in having the heater located outside with only the hot air tube entering the living space providing heat, but then you have issues with significant heat loss and the heater would need to be in its own weather proof container. Also yes, you can try to extract the heat from the exhaust as that represents maybe 25% of the total heat output being lost. If I had room I would vent to outside via a normal radiator which seems to work well.

+10 for god tier kitchen roll. Get a holder for it though you cave man

Edit: also the 1kg tubs of peanut butter are much better for you then that sugary crap
Yeah, a kitchen roll holder is on the list. As for the peanut butter, I usually do but they didn't have the tubs so just grabbed Sainsburys own brand to tide me over as I've just finished this one off.

I KNEW IT

Also TBF that own brand stuff is no added sugar etc, it's probably just lower quality peanuts. The added rubbish ones are nasty.

And the best kitchen roll is the one without a cardboard core that is pre-sliced into half pieces. Think it's Plenty. Ultra convenient.

It definitely has some gloop in there to bind it though. The proper stuff (@Malevolence second post with the big tub) separates like mad and is a chore to use, lol. But it is much tastier.

How do you find the flip ?
Tempted to get one once my pix8pro contract is done...

I gave it to my my fiance lol I am still firmly in Apple land.

She loves it because there are a lot of accessories and cases you can get on it. She went from OnePlus 10 Pro which the screen developed a fault.

I only had a short play. It seems very nice and if I were on Android I would consider it. It has all the features like wireless charging (reverse too), NFC and the dual screen is great. Using the better camera to take selfies is much better than the inside one. Checking messages without opening the phone too.

The cases for them though, I will say that because of the folding design, they all come with and need a little adhesive tape to stop them sliding off (due to the hinge). That means you can't alternate cases that easily.

Just bought the SL400 double stack as I thought narrower would be easier.
Turns out it needs at least 15cm spare space all round to use - the only model that appears to have this requirement.
It’s also deeper :(
Debating exchanging for this one instead as struggling to find a suitable space to give it the rear and top space it requires.

According to the sticker that was on it, that one needs 15cm space all around too.
