Cheers, it's all a bit of a mess inside at the moment as we're doing lots as you can imagine, but here's the old Zoopla advert with more pics :)

The owners before the previous ones had done the extension and done everything to a high standard, but then the people that bought it in 2012 (that we bought it from) didn't really do anything to maintain it, so everything is a bit tired and in need of work.

We'll get it back to it's former glory though :)

Nice one Martyn, although now we know where you live ;)

I think that's a great price for the area, something like that over in the Ribble Valley would have an extra £100k on the price at least. I hope to get us into something similar one day, need a 5 year plan!

You can buy mansions for that price up North

Here's what just £300k will get you

5 bed detached with ginormous garage and a games room

I can top that, look what you can get in NI...:p

My girlfriend is from Belfast, we're becoming more and more tempted to jump ship over there like a friend of mine has recently, so much for the money.

wow that's a fantastic price is it that cheap because it's heated with oil or because stuff is just dirt cheap for no reason over there ?

It's generally far cheaper over in Northern Ireland. Used to be a lack of jobs, many would leave and work over here on mainland. Things are getting better over there now though, bit more of a jobs boom going on. Tempting to jump on the band wagon while it's still cheap.

Crikey. And given the NMW applies in NI (obviously), if you had two people working 45 weeks a year for £14k each (that's total of £2,150 take home per month), you could easily afford the mortgage on that on minimum wage.
