I took Bhat and didn't have any problems spending it. I've been to Turkey with Lira which was a pain at times as it seems they much prefer pounds, dollars or euros. In Thailand I didn't get any mention of any currency other than Bhat and that was in both small villages and big cities.

Same here. I spent a month in Thailand and used Bhat for everything. My dad moved over there and uses Bhat too. Never seen any point/benefit in taking pounds/dollars there.

There are quite a few discount codes for H&M floating around right now.

Just checked, and that jacket can be had for £21.39 delivered! (good old Hot UK Deals)

Good find. Just purchased the full length duffel coat for £25.14 using the 2 discount codes on HUKD

Received the IE 80 today from the other guy. Seller was actually legit with an audio store in London and Facebook store page and everything else. I guess we all have brain fart moments.

Anyway, there are a tonne of fakes as mentioned earlier by sHo0sH, just look at how good the fakes look of these IE 80s

Without the help of forums and videos like this I can see how fake sellers are bathing in ££ from people who won't ever know the difference. According to other videos the fake ones are really good quality, not as good as genuine but for their price they seem to be recommended over others.

Got a good deal so am happy :)

Very very nice :)

I thought you had some £100 in ear buds too? What are the difference between those and these Sennheiser and which is better?

I bought some money.

Holiday yo!

Arhghg people buying massive amounts of currency for holidays make me sad :(

Use a decent credit card instead and it'll cost you less and be more convenient and more secure :(

I took $15 on my last 3 week trip and came back with $5 of it :D

I know you'd comment on this.

I'm using my Halifax Clarity Card for a lot of things, and for the majority of my Thailand trip, but been told that dollars are king in Cambodia.

But, the bulk of that money is for my girlfriend who is going to Vegas at the same time. I've told her about the Clarity Card but she can't be trusted with credit cards and her mother (who is going) is still of the thought that cash is best. At least they aren't taking travelers cheques!

The Vsonic GR07 MkII, yeah, those were imported from Singapore and they are brilliant but I fancied a change and wanted to go back to the Sennheiser sound and these seemed to be the best around in this price range with several customisation options.

Too early to tell how much better the IE 80 are compared to them, those had a year’s worth of listening on them, need to get these to the same level. But out of the box vocals stand out more, bass goes deeper but still remains as detailed as the GR07 even on the lowest bass dial setting on each earphone. Guitars and Pianos sound as nice as they do on my cans, I can hear the plucking and echoes as notes fade (typical Sennheiser sound).

I don’t like the cable much, it’s not as nice as the Vsonic cable but I’ve got an upgrade cable on the way which is thicker. The rubber ear tips aren’t foam padded on the inside like the Vsonic ones are either but they provide a good seal.

The carry case you see is cool but pointless as it's too bulky to "carry" around lol. I have a pouch anyway.

How much was the 3750?

I had one go *bang* on me earlier when I plugged it in, was pretty awesome :D

The inbuilt power supplies in the 3750s (particulary PoE) are not man enough for the job in my experience. I've replaced well over a dozen of these switches in the past few years.

Some parts for the Saxo have arrived...

Wishbones, tie rod ends, arb drop links and one of my winters for the Audi I need to get on when the other 2 arrive.

Oh, and I didn't buy this, but it arrived at home yesterday... no idea who ordered it!? No one is owning up, but it's bloody great.

I've just changed £100 into Baht for Thialand then will be using my Clarity card for everything else.

You're leaving on Sunday right?
