About a tenner on eBay, they're pretty good. Use mine to gauge component temps inside the PC.

I had a play with an IR Thermal Camera the other day... Genuine Chuckles with that!!

Been looking for a decent Thermometer!, where and how much?? :)

That one was £14.99 on Amazon prime, so no delivery charge on top.

There are much cheaper ones but they seem to get you on the delivery.

Not sure if I can link to off site shops, if this is a no no, sorry and please can an admin remove and I won't do it again.

Boots were £80 from Next, the lining is great for super toasty feet. Starting to wish I'd waited for that jacket now with all these codes floating around :(

I thought they were the Next ones I saw last winter but can't find them on the website. Thanks, might have to go check them out. :)

Always had an interest for history(and more specifically, military history) and the fact that all 8 combined cost less than a tenner made it a certain buy. As for the Business start up 2010, I'm not planning to work at Staples for the rest of my life and even though it is a few years old now, it still should be very handy in the long term.

Had to resort to this when trying to get a decent connection speed for a PC in another room of my house. I swear the place has wall like f'in fort knoxx...

the walls of my house > BT infinity

The inbuilt power supplies in the 3750s (particulary PoE) are not man enough for the job in my experience. I've replaced well over a dozen of these switches in the past few years.
Really? We've got dozens of them going in our lab and never really had any issues with them. Just this one going bang, but it could have just been dead on arrival anyway.

One of our 3750s (could have been a 2950; can't remember what I was on) is on like 6 years up time ;)

Nifty little flash and a bargain at £53 (slightly less on the bay).

Wow at that price. Both my 560s (Mark 1) have busted zoom mechanisms through years of man handling. They've been stellar tools though, enjoy :)

Custom upgrade cable arrived today, Zee's Athena 8x Braided, Online tracking estimated delivery would be the 17th December... Overestimation ftw?

Sheath on each end is curved to hug the backs of the ears, nice and snug. That's portable music sorted for a while then.

It's good to know that you got a few years use out of them. That wouldn't be great value for money if it were an SB-910, but these flashes are so cheap they're almost disposable.

Thanks for the info you gave me before on the Gregory Heisler book. It's now been added to my very short Christmas wish list. :D

Let me know how you get on as I've been eyeing these up ;)

First impressions are that they are surprisingly robust. Nothing on the flash feels like it would break easily.

Tomorrow I'll brave the cold weather and test out the slave function. That's about all I can do until I get the Yongnuo triggers.

How much did the IE80's set you back?

Was thinking to myself "That's a strange thing to put on one of those clown guns that fire out flags/message banners"... Then read the stickers bit :p

Still reading through and looking at the photos, amazing stuff indeed and great to see how they were done.
