Good stuff, nothing wrong with learning the young ones about pc's was just jesting, i know a few people who think computers are evil for kids.

He's only 8 but has an incredible memory , far greater than my memory was at that age and he's really into maths.

So I'm planning to get him learning some computer languages , in 8 years time he could be on kickstarter funding my retirement :p

His pc will almost be as powerful as mine and I think his case is better than mine :(
I'm still using an ancient Lian Li PC-A71A

Are you going to make it for him, so it's ready to go on Christmas Day... or will you just give him all the bits and help him make it?

I'll make it for him and set it up on Christmas eve.
I doubt he would be bothered about building it with me but any future upgrades I will force him to install with my guidance so he slowly gains the knowledge.

He only has a box room lol I showed his mum the case and she ain't a happy bunny :D then she started moaning that she will have to spend £60 on a desk because he has nowhere to put it lmfao (she's my ex wife and we don't live together)

New toy! Bought second hand for £50 with a big box of nails and a gas canister.

Also bought one of them adjustable desk lamps that a few people have posted. It's basically the same sort of quality of the £20 ones in B&Q, but a bit cheaper at £16.99 inc del, from ebay. Can't seem to get a very good picture of it as its black, but does look really good on my desk.

Also bought an E27 LED 5w bulb for it in cool white.

Looks like it would be handy for when I go about laying the floor lol!
Hmm wonder how much time it would save rather than hammering and punching the nails.

More stuff :(
Hope these black friday things end soon.

Hope they're as good as I remember my last pair!

Curiously cheap so thought I'd give them a bash too

It would be great for laying a timber sub floor, but not a solid oak floor that will be seen, it's more for doing partitions and nailing fence pales etc.

If its the oak flooring you posted in H&G you would be better secret nailing them through the tongue (assuming they are T&G). You can get a device that would make it a lot faster but they are expensive to buy, although you might be able to rent one.

Slightly off topic but good to see you and your ex wife are sort of on talking terms :) tell her to nip down to Ikea.

Picked these up on way back from work at my local asda, wanted killzone but they asking £53 so i'll buy online for £48.

Popped into tesco and they were not even selling any PS4 games , strange business sense.

Just the console to come now in a few hours :)
