My old NAD C325 Bee which I've had since 2008 was picked up by its new owner last night, today I picked this up:
NAD D 3020 + free Chord optical cable worth £51 which I'll sell and get a cheap Tesco one as that connection I'll be using for games consoles only
The internals were designed by the same man who created the original 3020 back in the 70s. I read he rejected many versions of it and only signed it off once he was happy with the performance.
Amazing how times have changed, from analogue amps as big as old school VCRs to this which is the size of a Wii yet still outputs comparable or better sound with all the modern features thrown in.

My 5 year old LG 50 inch plasma gave up yesterday, it had been playing up for a while taking 5 or so minutes to turn on.
A few weeks ago I was in currys looking at TV's and Sony had a guy in there who was really genuine he spent lots of time with me talking me through Sony's TV's. He was there yesterday but they had no stock at all. However Richer Sounds did
Excuse the clamps, its called living in a rented house lol
Sony KDL50w656. The surround is so thin its just unreal. My old plasma had about 3 inches all the way round.

Not really I was in a bit of a rush and to be honest I wasnt to fussed anything was going to be better than my old LG only thing I Did not want was plasma again. This thing is only 60 watts compared to nearly 400 for plasma...
