I've been wanting one since release and been thinking about it more and more recently and due to recent events and happening to have the spare cash there I was walking past the store, stopped...thought "hmmm"

They had one left. So why not! Firing it up now for the first time! :)

The games, basically.

I've said with every console war...stop worrying about features, specs, e-penis length...look at the games you want to play and pick the console to suit.

Most games are multi-platform anyway so its the exclusives that make the difference.

The PS4 does have exclusives due out that I want, but for me the Xbox won it due to what is already out/due out soon.

Plus I've never been a fan of PS pads :)

That's the exact reason why I went PS4, the only decent exclusives Xbox has is Gears of war and Halo, the rest are either pants, or come out on PC.
 
I think its ridiculous that both consoles have been out almost a year and there are so few exclusives!

But that's another thread entirely. :)

They were developed from fairly old material, short stories he wrote a while ago, but think he wants to write more with the same characters.

There's 3 stories so far 2 of them have been made into graphic novels so far and apparently the 3rd is in the works :)

They are coming out in a trilogy called "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" which seems to be coming out August 2015 :| which will probably be before Winds of Winter. Also heard that if the TV series catches up with the books they might make A Night of the Seven Kingdoms into a mini series.
The three stories were used in a variety of Anthologies which if you look around you can find.
 
New addition which actually meant the removal and sale of one of the PC's (the shock, I know!) to allow the space - Terrarium with a M/F pair of Electric Blue Dwarf Day Geckos. These amazing little creatures are endangered in the wild and very difficult to come by. I will add these are captive bred - I would never keep a wild caught animal which is endangered. I hope to breed from these and the female looks like she will be dropping an egg sometime soon!

They are called Dave and Gerty 2 (2 because the first "female" ended up being a male and had to be returned for exchange!)
