and walked out with the last 2 of 5 which were delivered yesterday.

So, we now have "his and hers" phones again (we both had S2's for a while)

I think if every post on this forum was strictly relevant to the thread, it would be an extremely boring place.

Why on earth would you rolleyes that post? The guy has had the huge outlay and immense hassle and beaten all odds to have a successful IVF baby, show some respect.

I don't know why he roll eyed but they go through all that expense and then decide to have a home birth where anything could happen and it did but they were lucky. I really don't understand this when all the professional clinicians are at the hospital.
Fair enough they could have arranged for a Maternity birth and the baby still could have caught them out but the thought of all that expense and deciding to have a home birth made me roll eyes.

Hi mate, thought id reply to this one. Trust me it was long, difficult decision for us to decide on a home birth. We used the One to One group (http://www.onetoonemidwives.org/) who are funded by the NHS and promote a more natural an relaxed child birth. They provide constant home checks before and after. They are there for the birth (they were on there way it just all happened freakishly quick). They even do classes for meditation and baby yoga etc to aid a pain and drug free delivery. I really cant say how great they have been. Our local hospital is pretty bad, especially the delivery ward. Its been in he papers a few times in recent years for all the wrong reasons. For the record, if we decide to try for another one, I wouldn't change a thing, other then start filling the pool a bit earlier this time! :)

Sorry to all the people moaning and rolling eyes. I was happy about the arrival of my new purchase and thought id share. Again sorry if it ruined your clearly very specific thread.

You don't have to justify it to anybody. Some people will find fault with anything. :)

I deal in clinical negligence and one of the most common claims is through births.
I'm not finding fault in anything, it's a fact.
Anyway, he explained why he didn't want to use the hospital.

I didn't mean specifically with you, but whilst what you're saying is no surprise to me, I think the focus of peoples posts should be to congratulate a new father and not comment on anything else. Just my opinion. :)
