What did I say 2 days ago?
Oh yes, that you would buy a watch costing 4 figures within 12 months...the reality is getting closer!![]()
It does look nice!
I thought Tudor were a 'budget' brand until I just googled them![]()
I dunno why you just cut out all the "crap" in between and get a Rolex from day one and save yourself all the trouble in buying and selling and buying straps and changing lumes and selling and buying![]()
This. I knew he had an inferiority complex about 'proper' watches from day 1!Each upgrade and modification perfectly reflected his thought process as he grew more and more desperate for a luxury Swiss watch

Not quite sure what your issue is mate but that's certainly not the case. I like a nice unique watch, all of the ones barring the Orient Mako and Seiko 5 were just that. I did fully intend on keeping the Longines and Halios for as long as possible as I didn't think I'd come across a watch I liked above them both so soon but hey ho someone here mentioned Pelagos and posted a pic and I had to check it out.
My reasons are as per my views in the watch thread, whether you like that or not doesn't even raise a testicle hair
You seem to have a nack for plucking out some weird reasons from what people post that simply do not exist.

Btw, there is nothing unique about watches, they are made by people, and people can make them again. There is no material on there that is so rare that stop them to make 100 more at the drop of a hat.
Exclusivity of watches is down to branding and price. Uniqueness doesn't exist in stainless steel bracelets.
The more it costs, the less people will have one, hence it is "unique". It isn't unique because less people haven't heard of them so they sold less.
I don't mean that isn't a nice watch, it is a lovely watch but we all can see how your mind operates and what you want deep down in the end, even if you can't.
