I love it and can't believe you got it for free! I'm pretty sure that ammunition is still in use today. 'HE' = high explosive.
By coincidence, I have a crate here that held the percussion fuzes for those shells.
Right place, right time. Think I will take a wonder back over on Monday see what other treasures I might find.
I enjoy military stuff and work for the army so there is always something to see/do/watch or read!

Yup same reaction as me, why people throw them away I have no idea, our QM Dept has moved so they chucked out loads of old stuff.
How it is now is situ, a perfect fit.
It's heavier than I thought, and that is unloaded. No wonder the long range sniper lot are big chaps, these fully weighed up would be very heavy!

Ah very nice. A mate bought me that for my birthday. from ebay so i've no idea how much he paid. said i should have it next week. Spent WAAY too much on steels lately.

It is a very good soundtrack too
This cover is much nicer than I originally thought when they announced it was a Walkman style. Good spot gloss and de/embossing. Inside artwork is awesome.

Early new year's resolution, to run every morning before work. I walk 4 miles a day anyway but I'd prefer to run half that in one morning before work, freshens the brain among other good things. Now need to find better sources of good carbs

I'd spend a bit more on running trainers if I was you. They don't look very supportive and will probably cause problems for a beginner. Seen it happen so many times.
Mine cost £105, were suited specifically for my running style and I've never looked back.
