I can have a decent brew again.

I had a similar one, cost me £100 but the water was never boiling like you get from a standard kettle.

That is the entire point of them, boiling point water burns coffee/tea.

We have an industrial size of these at work, the water is hot enough to brew tea and coffee, never boiling.

In home use though, it is a lot of energy to keep water in that temperature all day for a few people, as opposed to an office environment.

Because a regular kettle just dont cut it

:D

Actually a regular kettle costs more to run than something like this since it only boils the amount of water needed for one mug. I was going to get a Chef's Kitchen "always on" hot water dispenser which is even cheaper to run based on how it works but it had very few reviews (even though 4-5 stars) whilst I know the Breville is good having had the older model and has over 500 5 star reviews.

I just wanted the next model up so I can choose the size of the mug and has an instant water cut-out button. The cast iron mug I have is small so the cut-out button is handy to avoid overflow :p

The water is boiling with this, same as a normal kettle. It was £49 with free delivery.

That water device looks ugly - get an integrated Zip Hydro Tap : http://www.zipheaters.co.uk/zip-hydrotap

^But what if it's true?! Besides, he's a big guy, he can take it.

Whereas a kettle doesn't work unless it's completely full.

Do you realise how ridiculous you sound. The amount of tea I have a day would mean I'd spend more time filling a normal kettle up with just enough water for 1 mug than anything else. Much more convenient to just fill up the tank and brew just a mug each time.
