#4 of 12, at least this way I won't potentially suffer from bad batch syndrome. :p

I used to use natural sea water for my marines and inverts. No need for salt etc and it's free. Of course, some think it's risky but that's a whole different discussion.

Yes indeed i read a lot of people doing that, not practical for me though, then again would you take sea water from near the Sellafield coast :eek:

For nearly pure water for marines:) so much crap in the water.

Probably the most boring question i ever asked but how many ppm do you need for the fish?

:o I use a Merlin RO for my window cleaning water then have a DI pressure vessel filled with DI resin in the van to get it to zero. The water here in Stoke is pretty hard though, the Merlin gets it to around 25 ppm.

Even out of my tap alone i get Nitrates of 40ppm, the DI with resin like you said gets it down to 0 so it says which is what i want, do you get cleaner windows then using RO for doing glass.

You can't be far from me then as i'm 5 minutes from Sellafield!

And yea true, however, i used to collect mine from up near British Steel in Teesside

I think it makes it less likely leave streaky windows using RO.
