Just read the description on the Dispatch Note... "Automatic wrist watch - no battery".

I just hope that doesn't mean that you have to remember to wind it up every day! ;)

It's automatic, so you don't have to remember to wind it up.

Well yes that's what it means. But he'll likely have an automatic winder for it overnight so it never needs winding.

No, it'll keep going for about 50 hours once fully wound. If I don't wear it for longer I can just handwind it and set the time.

They have a small capacitor, lasts about 30hrs. Well it does on my Seiko 5.

It's not a capacitor, it's a spring :p

What's it smell like though?

Just tried some. Bought it without trying as I knew I'd like it anyway. I try lots of fragrances as o get a couple at a time and simply try something else when one runs out.

Blue Jeans is unlike anything I've bought before. I sprayed one squeeze before leaving work and am walking home right now and can smell it quite easily, it's not strong but different in a nice way!

Only 1 squirt means this will last for ages. The Hugo Boss from mid last year is only just running low :p

I am confused, are those chips not 7 or 8 years old?
yes they are 2006 chips.
I also thought it was illegal to sell Intel Engineering Samples ?

I'm sure Iv'e seen people being reported to their corporate security team on their forums ?
i don't think it is otherwise most people on hwbot would be done for it. i got these from a ebay seller in the usa :)

Got some new glass. :) Finally picked up the Canon 135mm F/2 L prime lens I've been lusting after for quite a while. Haven't had chance to use it in anger yet but from the testing I've done it seems razor sharp wide open and the autofocus appears swift and accurate even on my 5DII body.
Please excuse the crude experimental photography!

Out of interest, what makes you so excited to get them?
cheap to buy and kill, good practice to delid, the E6000 are very interesting because they were never released and generally clock very well. also overclocking cpu's for me is like playing games. i don't really play that many games on my pc's.

Because they're usually good clockers.
Yeah
If hes going for HWBOT scores / points then old components with new / odd mixes score higher :)
i do like getting a good clocker for hwbot
Im not sure on the current stance and if its "current" ES or all ES

I do recall someone almost getting banned on another forum for trying to sell an ES 7950

Few links from Intel here:

https://communities.intel.com/thread/26542?start=0&tstart=0

and, for me, another watch :P

[MG

[/QUOTE] i think this only applies to current es, probably because of nda and you are not allowed to get submission points on hwbot with current gen ES. i did check with some people on hwbot the other day and that is what they said. the guy who i bought these from said he bought a few from someone who worked for dell.

also bought 25 E5200's, this is the first time i've bought more than 2 of the same cpu. :D
