I don't get vinyl for something like this... surely it was recorded and mastered digitally ? (no one uses old magnetic tape multitracks these days)
In theory you lose with digital, unless super high resolution and lossless compression.. but if your source was digital in the first place, converting to a analog recording medium gains you nothing and loses you lots in terms of accuracy. (being that a vinyl is not accurate due to it's inherent design and shortcomings)
I could understand a old Hendrix vinyl recorded back when everything was analog, you get how it was meant to sound when played back... I could be talking carp though
