First parts for my little media server upgrade (moving from a Microserver)

Nice, I've been looking at gen 8 Microservers or going down the build my own route. Was thinking a H97i plus and a 4130T which isn't too dissimilar to what you have there :p

I was looking at the Gen8 as an upgrade to the N54L, but after pricing up a proper upgrade I am only outlaying £215 (re-using an SSD and 4GB RAM from the N54L and utilising Flubit to its fullest), so only £70 more than the Gen8 and I'll have something with a passmark of just under 5000 compared to the 2300 of the Gen8.

I then plan to give XPEnology a try on the N54L.

Yeah, the flappy nature of the case could be something that makes me rage, I managed to get the case for a bit of a bargain of £40 brand new, was an unwanted present on the bay. What did you get in the end for your mk1?

They definitely are priced steeply, if you don't mind the grey market it can shave a couple of hundred off the price, still quite expensive though for a point and shoot. But very unique in terms of size and performance.

I got a cheap case off amazon as I added the Thumb grip to the camera - which makes a world of difference.
