Because if you are just moving it around the house WiFi has better range and you don't need to have your phone on you? I know the sound, I've heard them. I wasn't questioning the quality, just saying it didn't have a feature I wanted.

To paint a picture.. These guys love their sound systems and have been building them for decades. They know their stuff and it was amusing watching them dumbfounded by a small bluetooth speaker.

The whole premise of a bluetooth speaker i thought you was can take it "anywhere". I think you'll find most portable speakers dont have WiFi. I see what you mean though, you want a movable house speaker which is different to a bluetooth speaker. No need to get all defensive... Lil homey.

Wheel Woolies are £lol for what is essentially a plastic stick with some hard wearing sheep on the end but hey ho, if it does the job as people say then I guess the cost justifies itself as there's less agro involved with those rim jobs.

seen that desk combo a few times here on ocuk, going to do it myself soon. looking for the right top though with the right depth, think ill be going with 2m of solid oak as walnut (which what i wanted) is expensive. wonder where you got that top from? looks like a very nice clean setup!
