Got it off some bloke in Cheltenham advertising it on Gumtree. His fitter had mis-cut it, so I picked it up from him. £70 so not a total steal, but solid dark oak and a lovely piece of wood. 40mm thick and 40mm staves, much better than that cheap crap.

seen that desk combo a few times here on ocuk, going to do it myself soon. looking for the right top though with the right depth, think ill be going with 2m of solid oak as walnut (which what i wanted) is expensive. wonder where you got that top from? looks like a very nice clean setup!

It is, but it's 720mm deep whereas most from Ikea etc. are only 620mm, i.e. not deep enough for a desk imo.

What do you use as the source?

MacBook Pro pulling files storred in Lossless and FLAC 24Bit/96/192 off my NAS connected via USB to the DAC. I shall use a dedicated device eventually but for now that works just fine.

Its awesome, really like it. Not had a chance to listen yet, so looking forward to that. Yeah sadly i didnt have the option for getting it sent from elsewhere. Luckily had extra pennies to spend at that time.
