The number of stone chips and debris I've acquired on my bonnet alone from 50k miles driving, are no where near great enough to warrant having that monstrosity strapped to my bonnet. I have about 5 chips.

That can not be the real reason to fit one, surely.

Are they strapped down pretty secure to stop cack getting underneath them?

their not supposed to be left on for any length of time, mines will be used for long hauls only

Joop?

It's a taxi, it's going to do mega miles and get scratched. Protecting the bonnet still means anything below the bonnet is liable to stone chips. If you decide to have that resprayed then you'll need the bonnet done too most likely!

Surely buying all of this stuff for a taxi eats in to your profit margin? Every time I am unfortunate to get in to a taxi I'm told how difficult it is to make money so I can't understand why you spend money on things like this.
