What was the reason that changed your mind to buy the LX100 instead of a Sony RX100 mk3 ?

As I have also been thinking of buying a sony RX100 mk3

I found the Panasonic to be much better with the controls of the camera, as everything is only a button away. Also the image quailty was very close between the 2 cameras on fine detail marginaly for example I took a picture of text and it does look a wee bit sharper but thats due to the extra MP's (RX100 M3). The bokeh is also clearly better on the Panasonic but that will be due to the increased sensor size.

The two camera where also pretty much the same price as the both include cash back offers. I paid £599.99 plus £50 cash back so thats £549.99 all in.

I'd guess id describe the differences between the 2 is the LX100 is the better camera for a more advanced user and the RX100 M3 is setup for a basic user.

The best thing I can go and recommend is go into the store and try both.
