yeah you cant set it to a fixed colour, it alternates. or in "party" mode its changes to sound.

In all seriousness though, I desperately want these drives to be good as 8TB at the price point is amazing. However I just don't trust Seagate drives anymore, had too many fail on me.

Yep! Need one quite long and that will raise the TV higher off the floor so an 8 month old can't get his mits on it.

Firebox only have them for preorder, this was via the auction site. Mine is the one that looks like its pixels rather than the smooth edge one if that makes sense.
