My house purchase finally completed on friday at 3:45pm
Congrats. I hate the actual move though, all the packing etc.

How much was that?
I recently purchased some 99.85% Acetic acid for £14 for a cleaning trial at work.

Love Knipex tools, have some automatic wire strippers and super knips myself
What does The Wire look like on Blu-ray? Good enough to buy it over the DVD version? I've also heard that it's been cropped from 4:3 to 16:9 for the current trend of widescreen displays. Is this true and does it affect the image? Finally out on Blu-ray:

We didn't want to sit through the 4:3 and having seen those two articles decided that it was worth going for the new 16:9 transfer.
Battleship Mutsu from Kantai Collection docked this morning.
4:3 adds to the experience when watching the wire. Would rather watch it how the producers and directors intended and not in 16:9.
After much trials and tribulations I finally got my phone
...
If those same producers/directors filmed it today, do you think they'd do it in 4:3?
Cheers. It looks good. Perhaps if I'd seen The Wire on TV or DVD at 4:3 I'd hate the Blu-ray 16:9 version but I haven't so I think I'll go for the Blu-ray. Especially as the Blu-ray price isn't that much more (£8) than the DVD version.About the transfer:
