Most won't be impressed with this but I am - My old smart phone was a Samsung Galaxy Apollo - the biggest POS you could ever image so this is a revelation to me

Android 4.4 KitKat
WiFi
4" capacitive screen
bluetooth
1.2GHz dual core
1400mah battery
4 GB rom + 512 Ram expandable to 32gig
And biggest plus for me dual Sim

So can put my Orange and GiffGaf in and now have a Giff Gaf signal at home as it seems to drag Giff Gaf in where POS didn't.

All for 49 quid - really impressed at moment

This 2.5" USB3 HDD/SSD enclosure. My last one was a real mission to open up to hotswap SSDs and I wanted one with a normal USB to USB jack, none of this microUSB3 nonsense.

Nice flat mate! ;)

Kettle toaster fail.. We have the white version, kettle takes weeks to boil and toaster only does one side right! :(

Having murder with the missus as I want to replace them as they are crap. But she says they look nice, I agree they do. But they bloody useless in day to day use!

we have this kettle and toaster, used daily, boils quickly and prefect toast :)

Running low on SSD space so the old but very reliable Samsung 830 series got an upgrade.

I chose this Intel one because it has a skull printed on the front. Skulls define death and deadly performance. I am going to be pwning noobs on TF2 like there's no tomorrow.

Better recognise.

Great Choice. I added that exact drive just the other week . have a 530 480GB as boot and the 730 480Gb as apps drive

Forgot that this vinyl was coming and a few days ahead of release:

Excellent!, you bought an analog vinyl which was recorded from digital master... (unless the studio was using all analog gear which would be near on impossible these days)

Vinyl really makes no sense at all, it's lose lose lose in terms of reproduction

/just me 5p, I could be wrong

edit: the label says 'audiophile vinyl'... what does this even mean :D

I opted against a newer Samsung based on the reports of bugs affecting both 840 and 850 Pro drives and Crucial doesn't have software like Samsung Magician or Intel SSD Toolbox, so I didn't fancy one of those for an OS drive.

Which left Intel really. Considering my main machine is on 24/7,I t made sense to have an SSD with performance and reliability at the size I now needed and Intel have always been up there with that I guess!
