mortgage approved, solicitors instructed, surveys booked.

hopefully should be nice a swift but you do never know with these things.

Little bit of advice, hold off posting until completion. There are so many things still that could go wrong at this point, most of which is outside of your control.

I love Tomb Raider, had it on the 360 and bought it again on digital when it was on sale for like £12 a few months ago.

I really enjoyed it, the story wasn't great but the gameplay was superb. Haven't played it since it first came out on the 360 a couple of years ago so it'll be nice to give it another go. Then it'll be time for The Last of Us again.

Bought one of these (in white) about a month ago.
Very good. Super quiet - which is what I wanted as I have it on most nights.
Remote and timer very handy too.
i guess you are paying here for the design and engineering costs to a degree.

Only thing I would say, test the oscillation function for a few hours. The first one I had started clicking when changing direction. The replacement is fine and silent.

Good shout will do.

White one is significantly cheaper too (£30 less). I not only wound up paying more for the style over substance, but also for black/nickel. White was my 2nd choice but all the stuff on my desk is black/silver so wanted to match...

What speed do you usually run on?

Being able to attach the remote to the top magnetically is a very cool feature. Don't know about you guys but I always lose remotes.

My vacuum cleaner is a Roomba (it doesn't do stairs), my handheld vacuum is a Vax (I do the stairs with this), this is my only Dyson thing but so far impressed.

Seems like crazy money for a fan, but then it is 8 degrees up here at the moment so if you need some cold air you just open a window for a few minutes.

Yeah, hayfever makes opening windows for too long here a bad idea :(

And yes at the end of the day it's a fan, a cool looking fan, but still a fan. Don't worry I am under no illusions, most of the cost here is for style/tech over actual function. I could spend £30 and get a reasonable normal fan.

But where is the fun in that? :D
