Rather expensive month but system is back up and running.

Replaced PSU, 7870 Black Edition replaced with the MSI 390x and the dead H100i replaced with the new Phantek Red. Temps are only a few degree's higher on the 4790k so happy with that

Shame those LEDs on the PSU can't turned off, but for the weekly deal on OcUK was too good to pass up.

New monitor, for no other reason than I want a wider screen to play League of Legends on, its blooming massive but does the job nicely

No don't think so, they were marked down to £39.99. They had the brown/ivory colour also at the store I went to. I did see it mentioned on HUKD yesterday.

Presumably the audio will still work, only the remote controls won't function.
If the cord is detachable then it could be replaced with an ordinary control free lead.

The over ear version of those comes with 2 cords, one with and one without the remote, no idea of the on ear version does the same.
