How much did you paid for it if I can ask ? I might get one for my 27" AOC Monitor.

£99 from Amazon. It's well worth it, I didn't think I would use the arm function if I am honest, I just wanted to save space. But I have already used it quite a bit.

Interesting wallpaper, reminds me of ice cream for some reason.

Haha, it shows up much more glittery in the picture, unfortunately the last tenant was an extremely flamboyant greek chap who did this. Will be moving in a few months so I haven't bothered to redecorate.

New home for us :D

It's illegal to buy or sell curved samurai swords unless they are traditionally made.

as he only spent £12 i doubt it's legal

Just to clarify this:

  • The law applies to swords with curved blades greater in length than 50cm (not just samurai swords).
  • Ownership is still legal (if you have one you don't have to bin it) but sale/transfer is illegal unless transferred via a will.

As a quick length guide, Wakizashi/Tanto = legal, Katana = illegal.

The are of course exceptions:

  • Swords owned by members of historical re-enactment groups which hold a Public Liability Certificate.
  • Swords owned by members of a Martial Arts club which hold a Public Liability Certificate.
  • Swords used for authorized Theatrical / film use.
  • All Swords over 100 years old.
  • Samurai Swords made before 1954.
  • Swords made at any time using the traditional forging technique.
  • Swords used for religious purposes.

Also repair of existing swords is perfectly fine.

Is vinyl worth money now then? got loads in the attic because I couldn't be bothered to take them to the tip lol. I guess if they are collector items now it depends what you got as I assume people aren't sad enough to be playing them?
