I wouldn't say upstaged! How are you finding it so far? Is it manual or DSG?

It's fantastic. Manual. And bloody quick. Spent this afternoon zipping around some lanes in South Gloucestershire, giving it as much welly as I dared. Found a castle. I think I'll go back tomorrow when it's open. :p

But yours. Not only it is a proper sorts car, it's got that all important RS badge. Like the S badge on mine, but better. I bet that thing accelerates like a greyhound out of a trap. You must be chuffed to bits with that thing.

Mine has a more sensible boot though, and can fit people in the back. Just mentioning that. Not jealous or anything, honestly. :p

Very very nice

Care to share the wealth haha , went to Volvo garage today ( always had a thing for them since young ) might be picking up a v40 r -design , got a couple of weeks holiday first

your cost of ownership will be higher than mine

I thought you had no more money left after the wardrobe battle:D

haha I won in court, not only that he has criminal charges coming his way now also for what he did after I sent court papers!!!

Is that a stock image, Dr House?

Yes delivery is due in 3 to 4 months

Nikon P610. Went for it mainly for the superzoom function, has the same flip screen as my Canon G11. Only thing i miss is being allowed to take 30 second exposures (15sec max on this camera).

Well fingers crossed the weather is better than it is here, it's hammering it down! If you do manage to get some pictures you should post some on the motor thread :). I have a soft spot for the S3/RS3 range :D I had originally looked at them, it was what started off the car search again.

The acceleration is pretty impressive, coming from a 425+ bhp front wheel drive focus I wasn't too sure how it would feel. In any weather you can just make progress! It's a much nicer place to be in too.

Haha the boot isn't too bad, I was expecting worse but you're right about it being 2 seats :p unless I chop off a passengers legs they won't sit behind me, I'm sure you could squeeze someone behind the passenger but I can't see it being comfortable on a long journey!

He's even put some near new 26x2.35 Schwalbe Hans Dampf tyres on which cost him £45.

Where from can I ask? The Bay? I'm looking at buying a decent bike, my first bike in years, I'm gonna go second hand cause I can't afford to splash out the big bucks. I'm not quite sure the best place to buy a second hand bike.
