Bought a monitor arm with the intention of using it to mount an old 19" screen in portrait next to my main screen, I got to this stage before realizing that my graphics card only outputs DVI-D not DVI-I, so no adapters can be used to get the VGA signal needed by the monitor :(

Refusing to class it as a waste of £20 for the mount, decided to put it on the U2711 instead lol. It now sits much higher (helps me sit correctly) and has freed up a decent amount of desk space :)
Do you have a link to the stand? I thought they were much more expensive!

Won't give a direct link as it may violate the competitor rules, but the stand is called "MDM11S Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Bracket Tilt Swivel Arm Rotate Pull-Out" and a quick Google for that should give you the result you need :)

Is that water-based gloss? I've heard that oil-based doesn't stay white very long, and water-based is the way to go to prevent long-term yellowing. I haven't given it a go yet, so can't 100% vouch for it, but it might be worth giving it a go! :)

I got myself a small G clamp to hold base down at back of desk while I was fitting monitor - seemed to keep tipping until got weight evened out.

Different stand to that but same principle.

A couple of LED Floodlights turned up today that i need for the garden, unfortunately one of the floodlights is broken, the corner has snapped where the front facing screws go making the unit open to the elements, which is a shame, so need to get one replaced or heavily discounted, looks like Royal Mail were a little rough with the parcel in transit :(

Well let's hope that your neighbour isn't David Thorne.

Actually, I've taken out the link as it contains a few swear words.

If you don't get the reference though google David Thorne and read Justins Floodlight. :D

Hahah funny read, nothing like that will be going on, one of the lights is not garden facing at all, the other light only switched on for 5 mins at a time when needed, these are not lights that are on PIR's (on and off all night), only switched on for a short time and the one garden facing i will make sure will not shine into the house 100m away backing onto my garden, as i wouldn't like lights shining into my house either, im a considerate neighbor.

Bought myself a new toy having spilt a pint of water over my G110!
