Ones got a smartscreen for saving your favourite channels.
Tbh, I wanted one with a screen initially, but it lacks some of the features the other one doesn't.

I don't find I miss having the screen. The best thing about the remote is 1 button to access the appliance you want to use, as opposed to select VH1 with 1 press.
So I press 1 button to switch everything that needs for Xbox One, this includes turning on the Xbox One or 1 button for Sky TV. The remote then recode itself to work for the Sky box.

How do those remotes work with the new smart tv's? My Samsung uses swipe gestures (on the remote pad) to scroll across apps etc. Would it still work on the Harmony?

I imagine it will still pick up left and right commands.
Although if I'm honest I haven't used the Smart function on my TV since getting VM so I've not tried to access it. Can't see it not working though.
