It's almost upsetting to think that with all the thousands he has spent on girly dolls, he could have found and hired a similar looking girl like that for real for most of the year. She might have even stretched to dressing up as a boat too for a bit extra. Age thing might be a bit of an issue though...
These turned up today from Yongnuo direct, no customs charges FTW. After an epic failure from one eBay seller and eBay finding the case in my favour and refunding me, I ordered from the YN store direct at a cheaper price too saving a good amount of cash.

This handy blighter, much cheaper than a GoPro, less battery life but I'd be only using it for a short while at a time
Sj4000? I got one in decmeber, battery is a hour max but to be honest for £40 quid, is decent enought. Batterys are £5 each

I get the whole thing about they turn into warships of the IJN (still don't know where the crew is or who's flying the aircraft off the carriers), but why is standing with her arse sticking out and why is she wearing what appear to be bunny ears?
Got some new headphones for work in the Jan sales, they were so cheap I ended up getting a DAC thingy as well as that was on offer too.

The pile feels the same as the BMW ones, the edging is different of course where the BMW edging is tighter I guess. Given the very small difference in pile quality I think these are a bargain at £30 vs the £75 of the equivalent BMW ones. They also come with the fastener clips too.
How well it wears will only be known with time.
It's weird to us but Kancolle (girl boats thing) is huge in Japan right now. Like, full page ads in national newspapers.

At one point, they was thinking of renaming some of their Navy Ships to avoid confusion with Kancolle.

During the peek, they was getting a steady stream of people visiting the Navy and ships.
The game itself has increased ship model sales by 400% plus Windows Tablets sales went up to people wanting to play the game on tablets, but this is a year or so ago now.

Think of her as a mascot. The characters take on the looks and styles of the ships of old while being creative.
The official line is they are just normal girls but have the spirits of the ships that allow them to do stuff, so magic.
