It's a gas powered BB gun used for Airsoft, nothing special.

How hard is it to reactivate them? Are they properly mauled or is it simply a case of new firing pin and job done?

Usually the barrels are welded shut and firing pin's are taken out from what I remember.

Way more than that.

For instance, my deactivated SMLE (bolt-action rifle) has a long section removed from the barrel, a steel rod welded into the barrel for most of its length, a slot cut into the chamber, a steel rod welded across the chamber (so nothing can be chambered), the firing pin cut off, the bolt-face cut off at an angle, and the extractor gone. The only thing you could use to make a functioning firearm is the wood of the stock!

£400 for a days shooting ducks, partridge and pheasants. Get to take a few home. The rest are sold to the butcher and the money goes back to the shoot.

8 of us 400 each 125 shot that's 25 odd pound a bird.
