What licenses do you need to purchase one of these? Or is it as simple as order online and wait for delivery?

How hard is it to reactivate them? Are they properly mauled or is it simply a case of new firing pin and job done?

Order and wait, it'll come with a deactivation certificate IIRC.
You need to be over 18. The item must be fully, properly deactivated by one of the UK's two proofing houses and it should have stamps to the metalwork to indicate the work has been carried out. You do get a paper certificate but that is, legally, not essential. There are plenty of dealers online with all sorts of ex-shooters available.![]()
Usually the barrels are welded shut and firing pin's are taken out from what I remember.
