Today DPD delivered the (rather large) Philips BDM4065UC:

Just getting my head around the sheer amount of space available! The font size is just about OK without scaling I'd say.

Colours and image are obviously amazing compared the TN BenQ 24" I had previously.

I hope you like it... I was soooo close to ordering one of those... but then I realised the dot-pitch is the same as a 20" 1080p monitor and I wanted higher density.

I've ordered the Dell 31.5"... should be picking it up tomorrow... same dot-pitch as a 15.6" 1080p laptop screen - which is perfect

It doesn't have a reputation, the Fiio X1/2/5 have a great reputation as lossless music players but this is just an average small DAP.

Not sure about that... the cpu, motherboard and case I want are on 2-week long back order It's a 6700K for 399CHF though (£260) - so worth the wait.

I'm going for a nice form as well as function this time... getting an MSI Z170A Titanium Edition and silver InWin 909... going to go with a silver/white/blue colour scheme. I'm really looking forward to building it It's been many years since I attempted water cooling and it wasn't in such a nice form last time.

I could have ordered from here and had the bits delivered to France, but 2 week wait is OK for £250 saving - especially when the build isn't urgent.

The 5820k is going to be relegated to my home server.
