Apologies for poor Moto G camera pics but picked this up today..
A 3AA battery 40 Warm White LED
Remarkeable brightness and under examination found to be drawing a whopping 100mA from the 3 cells fitted (2 of which are rechargeable). That won't do as the batteries won't last long and the LEDs will blow, one by one. 4.5v is far too much for LEDs. I think they were hoping the length of the wires would introduce some resistance and limit current, it did but not by enough.
So I modded it with a 330 Ohm resistor and some epoxy putty as the switch was a bit floaty.
Much better, now drawing around 5mA. 3x 2000mAh rechargeable batteries should power this for the Christmas period. Would only have worked for a day before, if the LEDs would have held out. Bad design.

Burn in, then they should sound better than those dj headphones
Hd25 DJ headphones? Normally used by engineers and musicians mainly AFAIK.

New rig
Bought most of it these past few months, just waiting for my GPU which should arrive on Monday and need some different fans as white LEDs look silly. Still thinking how i'd put a custom loop in here

I was thinking about BigClive while doing the mod
Like his videos, very down to earth.He loves his poundland LEDs sets and while these were £2.99 and from Poundstretcher they are of similar build quality.

Make watching TV & Films on the Tablet that much more enjoyable.
Moved into our new place on 20th November, very happy with it. Need a few more bits and bobs, such as a glass cover for my DIY pallet coffee table! Friends & One Tree Hill boxsets are the girlfriends not mine!
