Tree, of the Christmas variety. Threw last years out on the basis it would make me buy a real one this year, and ended up just buying another fake.

Mmmm! Cosy!

Why don't you just wear the watch ?
Do you carry your watch around in a case

That reads like a silly idea and it would look ridiculous. But hey, who am I to say that without giving it a go?

So I tried to wear it.

So yeah, you sir, have ridiculously silly ideas.

Preferred the sound of my hd25 mk 2's but these are way more comfortable.

My favourite headphones are the HD25-1 MK-II, so much so I have 2 pairs.

I have tried AKG, Beyerdynamic, I have HD650, HD595s and just got rid of some Grados. The HD25-1 MK-II I find are just perfect for me.

How would a pair of KRK Rokit 8s compare to a hifi setup of similar 2nd hand value?

e.g. Rokit 8 - £400
B&W 603 floorstanding speakers - ~£200
Nad C370 Amplifier - ~£200

I am always tempted by a change but unsure of active speaker quality

And that is what it is about.
Since the mid 80s (a long time ago anyway) I've had some Beyer Dynamic DT531s and I've never tried anything that is better FOR ME.
They are in a disgusting state and I daren't wear them after the hearing operation I've just had but a couple of weeks ago I sent to Hong Kong for Ear Pads + Inside Sponge Pads + Headband so they end up like new.

Well I have a set of Tannoy floorstanding speakers for the home cinema I would not use the reference monitors for that as the sound is totally different, set up what you just put up will have coloured sound, the krk have not I use these for Djing and music production, the quality is excellent on the Krk, I thought the 6's were decent until I tried these out today, such a good upgrade.
