Should have bought some wellies?
Don't see how those can repell water that efficiently
My old (cheap) ones had split soles and were only a few months old. Have just binned them

I wanted one as a kid but got a Madcap instead. Would still like one but haven't the space for anymore RC's!Vintage Tamiya goodness, when you open the box it smells like Beaties, circa 1991.
If you have any significant distances to walk, I.e. Between home to station and station to work, I'd get something like a pair of walking boot and leave the nice leather sole shoe at the office. Otherwise the pavement will make that nice leather sole into mince meat in no time. It's what I do. Rubber sole for the commute and leather sole shoe at work. The rubber one lasts like 9 months and like £25 a pair, nothing fancy.
Half of me wants to do this, the other half not. Its like the people that save their expensive watches (or anything else expensive) for special occasions only. I wear my expensive watch daily, if it was sat in my draw I would feel like its not getting the use it deserves. The same as leaving shoes under my desk at work.
You have three now then or is this to show the pair - I hate to think what you are going to wreck.
Awesome seeing the tamiya! My first proper rc was a tamiya scooby wrx in 1998 or so.
Its a Christmas present for me, by me. I'm scared my 2 and a half year old is going to assume ownership!
"Fully assembed" where's the fun in that?
Least if you build it part by part it's a lot easier to fix when you crash it and it breaks.
