Gonna decide if they are worth keeping and selling the K7XX. SO far it's looking like a keeper :o

Both X1 and X2 are long gone. I do miss them. Don't think there is another headphone built better or more comfortable than them.

IMO everyone should own

1. HD600 or HD650 (both are as good as each other no wrong choice) - for music

2. an AKG from the X7XX range (e.g Q701, K702, etc) for gaming or a AD700X for gaming

3. Fidelio X1 or X2 for fun whether it be gaming, music or bass.

4. DT770's for when you don't want to disturb anyone else

those 4 IMO are at the right price points and performance level to please everybody.

There is no 1 can that can do it all if you could only choose one for music it would be the HD600 or HD650. For gaming then the Q701 or AD700X. For closed the DT770. The Fidelios are a jack of all trades master of none apart from excellent boomy bass for an open can.

X1 and X2 sounded a bit too artificial to my ears vs the AKG hence why I got rid of them. I'm just gonna have to have a toss up between these two now in a week or so. But maybe I will keep the AKG for gaming :p

VGA is old technology. With the advances coming in with an ethernet connection (we may see something other than the RJ45 although I doubt it) I'd only want to personally invest in something with one :(

I really can't fathom why that's important... Use a USB 3 Ethernet adapter if you really really must but in reality what situation do you need Ethernet on a laptop when not using a dock or some such?
