I have a new sabre! Prizes (no prizes) go to anyone able to correctly ID it. One clue: it's British Army and it's one of the rarer Patterns.

I think it is metal princess lea bra for cosplay. Presumably missing a cup made it a bargain?
 
First time in 35 years have I managed to get a good edge on this knife

Got even better one on a slightly smaller and thinner John Lewis knife.

Was expensive but glad I purchased it.

Lol I didn't read your post properly there and was going to go with "British Army Officer's Sabre".

It's interesting though as I can't see any army badge or anything on it. I'm tempted to say cavalry officer but then again it has an asymmetric design which points to infantry so I'd go with infantry. Year is difficult, 1820s? Possibly an auxiliary officer or something like that. Oh also yeah, Scottish.
