Actually it makes perfect sense. Commas are pauses, so the sentence is very understandable.

I remember NB trainers being distinctly cheaper than that, I think they've cottoned on to the fact they're back in fashion. Nice though.

I bought a pair of new balance shoes as I wanted something comfy, well they succeeded. They are one of the comfiest pairs of trainers I've ever owned. Only £45 too!

The list price is higher than they used to be but for these ones I think it's because they are sort of a special edition. You can get them in sales relatively often which is what savagesam has got! I got a pair of 373 for £35 and a pair of 574 for £50, both in sales.

I have the black ones, only wear them to the gym and they're now more of a dark grey than black. Wear them enough, probably turn grey.
