It will go in an XP PC that I'll use for old disk based games that don't play nicely with Windows 7 and widescreen I think
Yep, exactly that.
Interestingly I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I'd not bought an LG product before and was a little disappointed to see what looked like a slight knock & flaking on a small part of the stand where it assembles, smaller than a grain of rice and not really visible.
Nevertheless though I would raise the issue and so far both times they've responded to me within 48 hours and will be sending me a replacement stand...

Not like its an exotic unheard of place, still Brits/British companies out there working afaik. You should get a free replacement imo
Those Hue systems are stupid money for what they are. The company I work for have done a few installs and I'm absolutely fine with the customer getting what they want but after extensively working with them I really can't see their worth. Endless times I've gone to use a light and it's been switched off using a light switch - If I installed the system in my own home I'd have to have smart light switches which communicate with the bridge.
