The bike market is very much a mid-life crisis sort of hobby. They can easily be very expensive because the average rider is in the 40-50yr old market, aka people that can afford them and are willing to splash some cash.
The only huge difference is going to a full carbon frame etc, the other details are not going to be benefited from an every day rider. However, it makes you feel a hell of a lot better and confident riding it. Whatever, gets you motivation, I say go for it! Gorgeous bike!

Anyone have suggestions for 'cheaper' but almost as good as GoPro? Remember seeing a couple on here last month maybe?
Won't use it enough to justify the price of a new GoPro..
Thanks :)

Rubbish. People of all ages ride road bikes, there are loads of teens in my Club.

Cost = Performance, but like anything else, when you get to a certain price point the gains get less and less.

Take a look at the SJCAM4000 mate

Cheers. Looks perfect. Watched a couple of comparison vids, and looks more than worth the money.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say no one else rides (obviously), it's just a fact that most riders are of that age group. Look at any event for casual riders, tri's etc, the biggest group is that I mentioned. Hence why they are the most targeted and marketed toward.
And like I said, anything above the full carbon (entry level of what $2.5k?) anything else is like you say less of a gain. Not sure what the rubbish was referring to?

There's lots of fake ones so keep an eye out.

You know, I just read a lot of the amazon comments that they had received fakes....which is strange as it's from the actual supplier.
Now looking at the GeekPro2, similar price, slightly better reviews.
