On the left! Exchanged contracts today and everything is done. Only have an image off the developers site for now, just have to wait for it to be built now. I've been visiting every week to check progress and the roof is due on this week! It's flown by since we reserved in February but it all feels very real now a very large sum of money left my account yesterday :D

Very big garage is very exciting as it's going to become my home gym :D

I feel all grown up :p

Steedie...whatever you read about Taylor Wimpey or whatever anyone says about new builds, we moved in to our new one 18 months ago and we have been very pleased with the fit and finish of everything.

Compared to our first home built by Persimmon it feels like a master craftsman has built it!

Thank you, reassuring! I've seen some bad reports about Taylor Wimpey but then I've also seen some bad ones about other developers too. I guess there are going to be horror stories wherever you look online as they'll always be someone who isn't happy. But so far our experience with them has been terrific and from speaking to the other people on our road, they're all very happy indeed

So I replaced my K70 non RGB (with MX Browns) with a K70 LUX RGB (with MX Reds) because I heard the newer models had a new lighting module. reason I did this is I feared my K70 was faulty as I could hear the LED controller whine when the LEDs were on the dimmest illumination. So the K70 is off for RMA....

Well, the LUX RGB arrived today and immediately I can hear the LED controller whine again, but this time it's loudest at the highest illumination as opposed to the lowest on the K70 vanilla.

So what's going on here, has my hearing suddenly become more sensitive? I've never noticed the LED controller whine before, but have always been able to hear HDTVs and things switched on around the house. My hearing is generally extremely good otherwise.

I've had to resort to running the keyboard lighting on the LUX at around 20% brightness for my custom key lighting, as the whine is barely audible at this level. In a way this is doubly nice as the keys are dimmer than the dimmest setting from before, and less of a distraction when editing photos/watching media in dim lighting.

I'm going to guess it's the keyboard that he gives the model name for no more than 10 words into that paragraph you've quoted. If you go to the website and put it in the search box it takes you straight to it.
