Where did you source these from? I've been looking but I can't find them anywhere, maybe I'm being stupid!?

Not available in the UK but the should be available at some point in time. These came from the manufacturer and were sent from Taiwan. The ones in the link from Derek W are similar.

Interesting - the lenses were about £85 for 6 months supply (fortnightlys) and are for s slight astigmatism as well

Can you link or pm me the polish place so I can see how they compare for next time ?

I buy them from here. Google Chrome translates the site very well, but if you don't understand something just send me a trust message and my girlfriend will translate it :)

If you acquire enough points, you can get up to 10% discount on every order. Shipping to the UK takes 1-2 days and costs ~£8.

Spook,

Do those tunze units use a float switch? Am using the tmc auto topup At the moment

Yes and no, the main one is an Optical sensor is far better as no moving parts so unlikey to fail, it has a back up float switch say the pump starts to pump out water and won't stop this stops it overflowing, plus the controller would stop the pump after 10 mins anyway so a few backups built into the system which is very good.

A new perch for when I'm on the PC (Herman Miller Sayl if anyone's interested):

Wow, never realised they were that expensive! They're the desk chairs we have at work, and I hate them! I find it feels almost as if you're sliding off the front (even with the base slid all the way forward), could do with an extra 1-2" of base length, plus a slightly more tilted back base imo. I've got a Staples Kashmir Microfibre chair at home, and think it's a far comfier chair to use!

10mins! That would be enough ro to kill everything in tank?

Be good if you forgrt to fill up the resovoir tho i spose would stop the pump burning out at least. I only went for the basic single float system which im thinking of upgrading to the two float or an optical sensor as when the stupid sucker failed and let the float go the other day, it pumped about half a ltr of ro into my tank before i caught it luckily was sitting right there.

That would have to be damn comfortable to justify that price as it looks terrible. Like that plastic garden fencing you get.

That's interesting because after quite a bit of research I found this to be one of the most comfortable chairs I tried (I also looked at and tried offerings from Humanscale and Steelcase as well as some of the more expensive Herman Millers).

I guess your mileage may vary but it suits me down to the ground. I'm also quite fond of the way it looks. I much prefer it to the car seat style racer chairs and it's a bit more interesting than a bog standard office chair. Each to their own I suppose.
