Much snappier, running OpenELEC. The previous one I had was the B model, which had some quite significant slow downs transitioning menus. This one runs like butter.

One of the all time greats!
absolutely, in my top 3 games. glad some of my friends can finally enjoy it. ill give it another go as well. i can't remember it very well, the puzzles will be fun

Yeah, no idea why it's not out on Region B. This one actually defeated my multi-region Blu-Ray player, so it was a job for MakeMKV

You can get region B (Australia) from the bay but it is only the 3D version.

At a quick glance, I thought you had purchased a flying horse. None the less, it looks pretty cool

I might get this soon, as Windows 10 will be supported as well!

I don't think it's quite what you think though. 95% of places reporting the Pi2 will run Windows 10 are click-baiting. The underlying OS is there, but it's a dumbed down ARM version like RT without a GUI.

Had a bit of a spend up
Monday my Haribo arrived:-
Plus some other stuff:-
Roccat Kone XTD mouse.
Impressions so far, pretty good. It's a good mouse, plenty of buttons, good performance. The LED's on it can be customised which is important to some I guess. I had them off, but I've got a Roccat Isku keyboard which has a blue backlight so I've set the Kone's LED's to match as close as possible.
The one downer is the comedy, tacky Roccat logo printed on the rear of the mouse. Would look really sleek if it were just matt black.
Got a matching Hiro mouse mat too. What can I say about that? It's a nice functional surface, reviews all over the place say it's very durable so hopefully I'll have it for a while.
Devolo dLAN Powerline 1200 Plus (Gigabit Ethernet) Starter Twin Pack. Not yet used these, but I hear very good things....
Edifier Studio R1600T III 2.0 60W Speakers. These were an impulse buy but I'm super chuffed. Very sturdy, very pretty and crystal clear sound. Might have to get a sub to go with them though but can't recommend them enough.
Then Tuesday the desk came.
John Lewis Calia desk. Love it!!! Super sturdy, great looking, ideal size, plenty of storage.
What more can you ask from a desk?!
Ignore the cabling, it's not staying these so I've not bothered too much.
Next up a new 24" monitor, but not decided on one yet.
Then some matching furniture, reshuffle of the room and I'll be done

Purchased for me, my G shock didn't feel right if a suit. Was perfect for my last job but this role requires a little more finesse.
Also bought a Samsung S5 but no picture of that as I'm using it to take pictures.
Wow, really like that watch.
