Impending redundancy, whats the crack?

This calculator gives me this if i was made redundant..
Based on the details you have provided, you are entitled to 19 weeks of statutory redundancy pay at a rate of £380 which totals £7220

Any ideas on how can i get my employer to make me redundant now :D

Its the companys.

I'm glad I'm not one of the many sub contractors there who drive Stobart livered trucks but actually own & operate them.....

Little update.

Went back into work today and in a nutshell, whilst I have had my notice of redundancy, there is a good chance that I will be able to transfer to a different Stobart depot.

I must say I felt very sorry for a lot of the warehouse staff today though who were walking round like their world has fallen in, for a lot of them, it has. :(

Time will tell for me I guess.
