The leaked temperature slides show it reaching 94*C in Furmark with the fan at 20%.

The same leaks showed it reaching ~70*C in Metro with the fan at 20%.

So I'm sure the temps will be fine.
 
I might hang on to my SLI 680's as G-sync will work with those anyway. I wanted to go single card.

Much to think about! 780Ti is tempting too and I think the mere launch of the 780Ti will drive the 290x price down about £30.

The question probably then comes down to waiting 3 weeks to save £30 and a wider market view to ensure the correct purchase.......

I just hope its not something stupid like £500+. The 280X only costs ~£230, and the normal 290 will probably be £50-£75 cheaper than this, so I dont realistcally see how they could price the 290 over like £450, its too big a gap imo.

I also am not impressed by AMDs tactics of releasing the 290 a full week after the 290x, considering the 290 is only ~10% slower than the 290x but will no doubt cost more than 10% less.

No cards come with Premium BF4, it is normal copy with all cards, there is no premium for UK market from AMD.
 
I've just cancelled my £54.99 order via Origin for Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe.

Another £55 towards the graphics card :D

Shouldn't have really ever paid so much for the game, but I did get 15 hours+ out of the beta.
 
Got my test email! I'm thinking I will certainly be in the second wave as I put the deposit down at 11pm Sunday 13th, and it was out of stock in the morning!
Looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully us in the second wave of orders can still get ours before the weekend?
