it's rather weird, imo. you chaps can obviously correct me here but i do believe i am correct in what i said about the mm having always been 'promoted' as being for active forum participation. surely anyone with any common sense realises that active participation means posting and not just lurking?
how anyone can get their pants in a huge twist when all that's really happened is the rules have been tweaked to bring everyone in line with the 'active participation' bit. i know i can be of a twisted, argumentative sod, as i'm sure the mods will agree
but even i can't see how there's an argument to be made against these changes.

Start posting in them and engaging in conversations and you'll find out yourself.
It's really not difficult. Spaming about post counts not working won't get you anywhere.
I am not spamming, most of my posts are pretty well put together and would not normally count as spam in any way shape or form. I have even made light of the post count in previous replies and you know this. I have also mentioned that I do understand the position the forum mods are in yet I get flippant replies like the one you're giving. You're being deliberately evasive and its hardly a precursor to encourage "forum engagement".

Go and get involved, by the time you get near to 1000 posts for MM we'll probably be at 2000 posts requirement.
This is the last time I am going to say this. I frequent Life>General discussion/PC gaming and the Entertainment forums. My post count hasn't moved from 287 for over a week, and before that weeks ago I was at 277. I'm now getting tired of the run around. I have already stated ad nauseam that I do not care about the MM.
