From what I heard Brad is playing the role of a UN Inspector going round gathering evidence and information about the war which is pretty much the book so it should be ok.

*scratches chin* That sounds... Promising... I should try some more research. My info is mainly based off sensationalistic imdb forum posts along the lines of "omg Pitt is in it, this will suck".

Um, to the guy who said they can't climb - No, you're right, but they will simply keep dying at the base of the building and eventually build a ramp of corpses up there according to the Zombie Survival Guide I believe.

Need to ask more questions:

1 - If Zombies were able to get to the roof of a tall building; would they fall off the edge when wondering around? Or are they savvy enough to avoid it?

This then makes me wonder why no one has invented a sort of huge funnel to guide the zombies toward an empty tall building/s to which they will walk up and then fall off and die from?

Im thinking of a question 2 atm

Seriously. The first thing to go during decomposition of a human body is the eyes. They break up in a matter of days from death due to them being composed mostly of water. Thus, wouldn't any zombie apocalypse pit sighted humans up against a legion of undead Stevie Wonder's and Ray Charles'?

Apparently that's as as close to the book as it gets - I've heard that Brad Pitt is the reporter, but he's embedded in a military unit during the war, rather than writing the a book post war.
